The weight of that head
isn't much compared to the rest of the engine, but when one person (Stooge
#1) has to lift it off the cylinder, AND carry it down from the engine
alone. We had to so that the pistons could come out. That was
a real chore. To top things off there was a dead bird lodged in one
of the sparkplug holes. Boy did that thing stink!! The head
was sandblasted and replaced after the pistons had been put back.
