This shot shows the rod bearings and the governor.  One of the bearings was fairly loose so we thought it best to remove.  The red bearing on the right is not the orginal, thankfully there was an extra one sent with the engine.  The governor runs off the vertical sideshaft, and controls the engine via a lever running through the crankcase to the other side of the engine.
