Here is our first look at a real piece of bad news.  The theory goes that the rod bearing broke, made one more revolution and threw the piston rod into the jug skirt.  When they fixed it they welded the rod bearing, and put spacers in front of it so that the rings couldn't get into the crack.  They also upped the Hp from 30 to 40.
