A Different View

    This is another angle of the United States after first arriving home.  It shows more of the rust damage sustained by the crank guard as well as the rest of the engine.  It also shows that the proper carb is missing with a little Lunkenheimer taking its place.  If you look closely you can see the lockout mechanism at the top of the pushrod that is also seized and will need to be completely disassembled before this project is done.
